Od1n is Norway's first commercial language model (LLM) built entirely from the ground up – developed in Oslo by EZ-Fix. Od1n V5 is a Norwegian model with 3 billion parameters, trained from scratch, that nonetheless measures against – and beats – far larger models from the global technology giants on Norwegian. It shows what focused, sovereign-first development can achieve.
Unlike solutions that wrap or fine-tune foreign models, we train our own base model on Norwegian data – with full control over architecture, training data and weights. Grounded in Norway, driven by Nordic values, built for the world.
Od1n is a product owned and developed by EZ-Fix AS – a Norwegian technology company that builds AI, data and software solutions for organisations. Od1n is EZ-Fix's own language model: a Norwegian base model trained from the ground up, with full control over architecture, training data and weights.
